Responsibility
- Execute equity trades across global markets during night trading hours with precision and efficiency.
- Monitor and manage client orders, ensuring timely and accurate execution in accordance with market conditions.
- Provide real-time support to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to trade execution.
- Collaborate with the day trading team to ensure seamless handover of positions, orders, and market updates.
- Maintain detailed records of all trades, client interactions, and market activities for compliance and auditing purposes.
- Stay updated on global market trends, news, and regulatory changes that may impact trading strategies.
- Identify and escalate potential risks or discrepancies in trade execution to senior team members.
- Utilize trading platforms and tools to optimize order flow and minimize execution errors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, Series 7) are a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in equity trading, preferably in a night desk or after-hours trading role.
- Strong understanding of global equity markets, trading mechanisms, and order types (e.g., limit, market, stop-loss).
- Proficiency in using trading platforms and financial software (e.g., Bloomberg Terminal, Reuters, MetaTrader).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision while maintaining high productivity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in financial trading.
