As the Night Auditor, you will be responsible for reconciling daily financial transactions, preparing nightly reports, and maintaining the highest standards of guest satisfaction. Responsibility
- Perform nightly audits of financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments, ensuring 100% accuracy.
- Generate and distribute daily financial reports, including revenue summaries, occupancy stats, and discrepancies for management review.
- Monitor and reconcile front desk cashier activities, including foreign exchange transactions and credit card settlements.
- Provide premium guest services, including check-ins/outs, reservations, and addressing overnight inquiries with professionalism.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, accounting standards, and local financial regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in folios, invoices, or payment systems promptly.
- Collaborate with the revenue management team to optimize pricing strategies and inventory controls.
- Maintain confidential and secure handling of all financial and guest data in accordance with GDPR and hotel protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel night auditing, accounting, or front office operations in a luxury hospitality setting.
- Proficiency in PMS (Property Management Systems) such as Opera, Amadeus, or similar, and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail in financial reconciliation.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal); fluency in Indonesian is a plus.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (typically 10 PM – 6 AM) with minimal supervision.
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Accounting, Finance, or related fields preferred.
- Prior experience in GSA (General Sales Agent) operations or international hotel chains is advantageous.
- Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining a guest-first mindset.
