Responsibility
- Manage the front desk during the overnight shift, ensuring all guest inquiries and requests are handled promptly and professionally.
- Perform nightly audits, including balancing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing reports for management.
- Check guests in and out, process payments, and ensure all guest records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Monitor and respond to guest reviews and feedback, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any overnight guest requests or issues.
- Ensure the security and safety of the hotel premises during the night shift.
- Assist in training and mentoring new front desk staff as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all materials and equipment are in good working order.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or accounting is a plus.
- Previous experience in a front desk or night audit role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and staff.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight shifts.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays as required.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
