Responsibility
- Operate and monitor neuromonitoring equipment during surgical procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide real-time feedback on patient neurological status.
- Maintain and troubleshoot neuromonitoring equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Document and analyze neuromonitoring data to support clinical decision-making.
- Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols in the operating room.
- Provide training and support to new team members and healthcare staff on neuromonitoring techniques.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in neuromonitoring technology and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards for patient care and data management.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Neurophysiology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in neuromonitoring (e.g., CNIM) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in intraoperative neuromonitoring or a similar role.
- Strong technical skills in operating and troubleshooting neuromonitoring equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
