Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain a robust network security architecture to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities.
- Monitor and analyze security incidents, conducting thorough investigations and implementing corrective actions.
- Lead the deployment of firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint protection systems to fortify network defenses.
- Conduct regular security audits, penetration testing, and risk assessments to identify and address potential weaknesses.
- Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in compliance with industry regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures into network infrastructure.
- Provide security awareness training for employees to foster a culture of cybersecurity vigilance.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices to proactively enhance defenses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCNP Security) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in network security, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role.
- Proven expertise in network security protocols, encryption technologies, and secure network design.
- Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, WAF, and vulnerability scanners (e.g., Nessus, Qualys).
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS) and risk management methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in hybrid or cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable.
