Responsibility
- Design and implement WAN optimization strategies to enhance data flow and reduce latency.
- Proactively monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure maximum uptime.
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other critical networking hardware.
- Perform regular capacity planning and infrastructure audits to identify areas for performance improvement.
- Develop and document network topologies, configurations, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical escalations.
- Maintain security standards and compliance protocols across all network endpoints.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in Network Engineering or WAN Optimization.
- Solid understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and traffic analysis software.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose performance bottlenecks in complex environments.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical requirements for stakeholders.
