We are expanding our operations in Bali, Indonesia and seeking a Network Operations Centre (NOC) Engineer to ensure seamless, high-performance network infrastructure for our clients.
As a NOC Engineer, you will play a critical role in monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining our network systems to guarantee 24/7 uptime, security, and optimal performance. Responsibility
- Monitor network performance in real-time using advanced NOC tools and proactively identify/address potential issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network outages, latency, and connectivity problems to minimize downtime.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network upgrades, patches, and security protocols.
- Document network incidents, resolutions, and maintenance activities for compliance and auditing.
- Ensure network security by monitoring for threats, vulnerabilities, and unauthorized access.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and clients, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Optimize network performance through capacity planning, traffic analysis, and bandwidth management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in network operations, support, or engineering (NOC/SOC experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN) and monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG).
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei networking equipment and firewalls.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 environment.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to document technical issues clearly.
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and cybersecurity best practices is a plus.
