Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scripts for automotive infotainment systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing on embedded software and hardware components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system architects, and project managers, to identify and resolve defects.
- Utilize automated testing tools and frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
- Document test results, analyze failures, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders for continuous improvement.
- Participate in requirements analysis and contribute to test strategy development for new features and system updates.
- Ensure adherence to automotive industry standards (e.g., AUTOSAR, ISO 26262) and best practices in software testing.
- Support the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline by integrating testing into the development workflow.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in the automotive or embedded systems domain.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (e.g., black-box, white-box, automated testing) and tools (e.g., Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, JIRA, Jenkins).
- Experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and diagnostic protocols (UDS, KWP2000).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, CAPL) and test automation frameworks.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural team.
