Responsibility
- Strategic Network Design: Develop and implement enterprise-grade network architectures (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, hybrid cloud) to support scalable, high-availability systems.
- Infrastructure Modernization: Lead the migration to next-gen technologies (e.g., SASE, Zero Trust, AI-driven networking) while ensuring backward compatibility.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce cybersecurity best practices (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS) and design resilient networks with multi-layered protection against threats.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance network performance, latency, and bandwidth to meet luxury hospitality SLAs.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Oversee relationships with telecom providers, hardware vendors, and internal teams to align IT with business goals.
- Disaster Recovery & Redundancy: Design and test failover systems and backup protocols to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Budget & Resource Allocation: Manage CAPEX/OPEX for network projects, optimizing costs without compromising quality.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and upskill engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering; Master’s or certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, AWS/Azure Architect) preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years in network architecture/engineering, with 3+ years in a managerial role (hospitality/enterprise IT a plus).
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Cisco/Juniper, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Security Knowledge: Deep understanding of network security protocols, encryption, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, NIST).
- Project Management: Proven ability to deliver large-scale IT projects on time and within budget (PMP/ITIL certification advantageous).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities to bridge technical and business stakeholders.
- Industry Awareness: Familiarity with hospitality IT trends (e.g., IoT for smart hotels, guest Wi-Fi optimization).
- Language: Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) a plus.
