Responsibility
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance network architectures tailored to the insurance industry.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network solutions with existing systems and applications.
- Develop and maintain network policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency.
- Lead network security initiatives, including firewall management, intrusion detection, and vulnerability assessments.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and support staff.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovations to improve network infrastructure.
- Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and regularly tested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Architect or similar role, preferably in the insurance or financial sector.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security technologies.
- Experience with network design tools and methodologies (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, SDN).
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
