Responsibility
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate science lessons to students of varying abilities.
- Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet educational standards and foster critical thinking and scientific inquiry.
- Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of achievement.
- Manage a dynamic classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and active participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration to support student learning and development.
- Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development sessions to enhance teaching practices.
- Integrate technology effectively into science instruction to enhance learning experiences.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students, fostering their interest in STEM fields.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Education, or a related field.
- Native English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience teaching science at a primary or secondary level.
- Teaching certification/license from a recognized educational authority (e.g., PGCE, State License, Teaching Credential).
- Demonstrated ability to create an engaging, inclusive, and effective learning environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
- Adaptability, cultural sensitivity, and a genuine enthusiasm for living and working in Indonesia.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and a willingness to explore new teaching methodologies.
