Responsibility
- Develop and deliver comprehensive Mandarin language lesson plans tailored to various age groups and proficiency levels.
- Create an immersive and engaging classroom environment using multimedia tools and interactive activities.
- Assess student progress regularly through formal and informal evaluations, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with the academic team to refine curriculum standards and teaching methodologies.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents regarding student development and achievements.
- Participate in school cultural events, workshops, and faculty meetings.
- Prepare students for standardized Mandarin proficiency exams (e.g., HSK or YCT) where applicable.
Qualifications
- Native Mandarin speaker with excellent pronunciation and command of simplified/traditional characters.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Linguistics, Chinese Literature, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or language school setting.
- Possession of a teaching certification (e.g., CTCSOL, TQUK, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
- Adaptable, energetic, and passionate about student-centered learning.
- Willingness to relocate to and work in Jakarta, Indonesia.
