Responsibility
- Develop and execute national procurement strategies for non-produce FMCG categories to ensure optimal stock levels and cost efficiency.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers and vendors to secure competitive advantages and long-term partnerships.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with demand planning, logistics, and finance teams to forecast requirements and align procurement with inventory and budget targets.
- Manage purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier compliance to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of stock needs.
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations and implement performance improvement initiatives where necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and contracts using ERP or procurement software.
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize waste.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, ERP systems, etc.).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and demand forecasting techniques.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid setup with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with Indonesian market dynamics and supplier networks is a plus.
