Responsibility
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in English, Chinese, Malay, or Tamil to preschool-aged children.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that fosters creativity and curiosity.
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to organize educational activities and events.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure the well-being of all students.
- Participate in training programs to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and cultural backgrounds.
Qualifications
- Fluency in at least one of the following languages: English, Chinese, Malay, or Tamil.
- Minimum diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Passion for working with young children and a patient, nurturing demeanor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a rotating shift schedule, including mornings and afternoons.
- Basic computer skills for lesson planning and record-keeping.
- Willingness to undergo training and professional development as required.
- Previous experience in a preschool or childcare setting is a plus but not mandatory.
