Responsibility
- Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the IB Diploma Programme in accordance with IB standards and school policies.
- Collaborate with subject teachers to ensure curriculum alignment, resource development, and assessment strategies meet IB requirements.
- Monitor student progress, providing academic guidance and support to ensure high achievement in IB examinations.
- Organize and facilitate IB workshops, training sessions, and professional development for faculty to enhance teaching quality.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the school, IB organization, and external stakeholders, including parents and university admissions.
- Oversee the Extended Essay, CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service), and TOK (Theory of Knowledge) components, ensuring compliance and student engagement.
- Develop and maintain systems for tracking student performance, IB authorization, and programme evaluation.
- Promote a culture of academic rigor, international-mindedness, and holistic development among students and staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, International Baccalaureate Studies, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IB education, with at least 2 years in a leadership or coordinator role.
- In-depth knowledge of the IB Diploma Programme curriculum, assessment criteria, and authorization processes.
- Proven ability to mentor teachers, design professional development programs, and foster a collaborative academic environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and faculty effectively.
- Experience working in international or multicultural schools is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Indonesian is a plus.
