Responsibility
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Excel-based tools and dashboards to streamline mortgage operations and reporting
- Identify opportunities for process automation and implement solutions using AI and other technologies
- Collaborate with mortgage managers to analyze workflows and recommend efficiency improvements
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of mortgage processes and procedures
- Assist in the implementation of new mortgage software systems and provide user training
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators for mortgage operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with Australian financial regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mortgage operations, financial services, or process improvement
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, Power Query) with ability to create complex spreadsheets
- Experience with process automation tools and basic understanding of AI applications in finance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment
- Knowledge of Australian mortgage processes and regulations is a plus
