Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on injection molds to ensure operational efficiency.
- Diagnose and repair mold defects, including damage, wear, or misalignment, using precision tools.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize mold performance.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks on molds to meet industry and company standards.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and adjustments in detailed logs.
- Assist in the setup, testing, and calibration of new molds and equipment.
- Recommend improvements to mold designs or maintenance processes to enhance durability and performance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mold Maintenance Technician or similar role in precision engineering.
- Strong knowledge of injection mold systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, measuring instruments, and CNC machines for mold repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy components and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of CAD/CAM software is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented setting.
