Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize mold tools for high-precision manufacturing processes.
- Oversee mold production, testing, and validation to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, production, QA) to enhance mold performance and durability.
- Troubleshoot mold-related issues, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of molds to extend lifespan and ensure consistency.
- Develop and implement cost-effective solutions for mold repairs and modifications.
- Document technical specifications, process improvements, and best practices for mold engineering.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in mold design and manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mold design, tooling, or precision manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, NX) and mold flow analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of injection molding, die casting, or similar manufacturing processes.
- Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and quality control standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-precision environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.
