Responsibility
- Execute manual test cases to validate printer software functionality, performance, and usability.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using industry-standard tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Design and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Perform regression testing to ensure software stability after updates or fixes.
- Contribute to test automation discussions and assist in transitioning manual tests to automated scripts where applicable.
- Provide clear, concise feedback on software quality and suggest improvements.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in manual software testing, preferably in printer/embedded systems or related fields.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks and collaborative development tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Basic knowledge of SQL, API testing, or Postman is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong communication skills in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
