As a Merchant Service Executive, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint in the region. You will identify high-potential business opportunities, provide ongoing support to our merchant network, and act as a consultant to help them succeed. Responsibility
- Identify and prospect new merchant accounts to expand Aeon Credit's market share in the Temerloh region.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor merchant sales performance and operational health.
- Build and maintain long-term, profitable relationships with existing merchants to ensure high retention.
- Provide training and support to merchants regarding Aeon Credit’s payment solutions and promotional programs.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and propose actionable strategies to improve merchant output.
- Resolve merchant inquiries and technical issues promptly to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Prepare regular sales reports and market feedback for management review.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or merchant relations (banking/fintech experience is a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
- Results-driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Possess own transport and a valid driving license, with the willingness to travel within the Temerloh area.
- Good proficiency in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle pressure effectively.
