Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire new merchants and expand AmBank’s merchant portfolio in Bali.
- Identify and activate dormant merchant accounts through targeted engagement and value-driven propositions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing merchants to drive revenue growth and retention.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and merchant needs in the local business landscape.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Product) to design and implement merchant-focused solutions.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts, pricing, and service agreements with merchants to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, providing actionable insights to optimize revenue and reduce churn.
- Represent AmBank at industry events, networking sessions, and merchant meetings to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in merchant acquisition, relationship management, or business development within the banking/financial services sector.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of merchant services, payment solutions, and financial products.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed business decisions.
- Familiarity with the Bali business landscape and local merchant networks is highly advantageous.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a significant plus.
