In this role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding our network of pet shops across Indonesia, driving revenue growth, and building long-term partnerships with merchants.

At PAWGET, we’re revolutionizing the pet industry by connecting pet lovers with the best products and services. As our Merchant Acquisition Executive, you’ll be at the forefront of this mission, identifying and onboarding high-quality pet retailers to our platform.
Responsibility
- Identify, engage, and onboard new pet shops, grooming salons, and pet-related businesses across Bali and beyond.
- Develop and execute strategic outreach plans to meet and exceed monthly acquisition targets.
- Conduct in-person visits to potential merchants, presenting PAWGET’s value proposition and negotiating partnership terms.
- Maintain a pipeline of prospective merchants and track progress using CRM tools.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling pitches and promotional materials for merchant onboarding.
- Provide exceptional post-onboarding support to ensure merchant satisfaction and retention.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities in the pet retail sector.
- Submit regular reports on acquisition activities, challenges, and successes to the CEO.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or merchant acquisition, preferably in the retail or e-commerce sector.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with a track record of closing deals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with merchants.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is a plus.
- Passion for the pet industry or a willingness to learn about pet retail trends and needs.
- Own transportation (motorcycle/car) and a valid driver’s license to facilitate merchant visits.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional local dialects are advantageous.
