Responsibility
- Conduct in-depth merchandising analysis to identify sales trends, stock performance, and customer preferences to inform buying and allocation decisions.
- Collaborate with store managers to implement visual merchandising strategies that align with brand guidelines and maximize sales.
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels, ensuring product availability while minimizing excess stock and shrinkage.
- Develop and execute operational procedures to streamline store processes, including staff scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
- Analyze KPIs and sales reports to provide actionable insights for improving store performance and profitability.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, logistics) to ensure seamless product launches and promotions.
- Train and mentor store staff on best practices in merchandising, customer service, and operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health/safety regulations, and brand standards across all locations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in merchandising, retail operations, or a similar role within the luxury or fashion retail industry.
- Proven ability to analyze sales data, inventory reports, and market trends using tools like Excel or retail management software.
- Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and store layout optimization.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to manage teams and resolve operational challenges.
- Familiarity with POS systems, ERP software, and inventory management tools is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Indonesian is advantageous.
