Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end procurement of medical supplies, equipment, and services in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Coordinate with vendors to negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules for cost-effective purchasing.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or excess.
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and payments while ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to forecast demand and align procurement with operational needs.
- Conduct market research to identify reliable suppliers and evaluate product quality and pricing.
- Resolve discrepancies in orders, shipments, or billing with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare reports on procurement activities, spending, and savings for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain, preferably in the healthcare or medical industry.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, supply chain logistics, and inventory management systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/purchasing software.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards (e.g., FDA, ISO) is a plus.
