Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain mechanical systems and components to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on heavy machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve mechanical processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures in compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor and analyze mechanical system performance, recommending upgrades or modifications as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the workplace.
- Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and maintenance staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanization, heavy equipment, or engineering, preferably in the plantation industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Proficient in using CAD software and other engineering tools.
