Responsibility

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems and equipment used in hazardous waste (B3) transportation and processing.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles, pumps, conveyors, and other mechanical assets to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose mechanical failures and implement corrective actions in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with operations and safety teams to ensure all mechanical work adheres to Wastec International’s standards and local regulations.
  • Document maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment logs, using digital tracking systems.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment and systems as needed.
  • Provide technical support to field teams during waste collection, transportation, and processing operations.
  • Participate in safety training and drills to maintain a zero-incident workplace.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or vocational certification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in waste management, automotive, or industrial settings.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems, including engines, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
  • Familiarity with hazardous waste (B3) regulations and safety protocols is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and the ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to work in challenging conditions, including confined spaces and outdoor environments.
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English proficiency is advantageous.
