Responsibility
- Lead and manage all mechanical engineering operations for our packaging manufacturing facilities in Bali
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and optimization of mechanical equipment and production systems
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and product quality
- Manage capital projects for facility expansions, upgrades, and new equipment installations
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards in mechanical operations
- Mentor and develop a team of mechanical engineers and technicians
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Proven track record in packaging manufacturing or related industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment
- Experience with CAD software and mechanical design principles
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in English (additional Indonesian language skills are a plus)
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia (work permit sponsorship available for qualified candidates)
