Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for all mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Conduct regular inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of machinery to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.
- Lead equipment improvement initiatives, including upgrades, modifications, and efficiency enhancements to support operational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute maintenance protocols aligned with industry best practices and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, service reports, and equipment histories.
- Oversee third-party vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or installations, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Train and mentor technical staff on equipment operation, safety procedures, and maintenance techniques.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO) and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; professional certification (e.g., PMP, CMRP) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, equipment maintenance, or a similar role in manufacturing, logistics, or industrial settings.
- Proven expertise in preventive maintenance systems (PMS), predictive maintenance, and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems, as well as industrial machinery (e.g., conveyors, forklifts, HVAC).
- Proficiency in CAD software, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with safety protocols, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance in industrial environments.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to coordinate with teams and stakeholders effectively.
