Responsibility
- Design, develop, and test mechanical systems, components, and prototypes to meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analyses for new engineering projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., electrical engineers, project managers) to integrate mechanical solutions into broader systems.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and documentation using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement sustainable and cost-effective engineering practices to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on-time and on-budget completion.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements in mechanical engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS).
- Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and material science.
- Experience with project management and adherence to safety/quality standards (e.g., ISO, ASME).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, automation) is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to evolving project requirements.
