Responsibility
- Design and develop HVAC (ACMV), plumbing, and fire fighting systems in compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
- Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, schematics, and BOMs using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Conduct load calculations, energy efficiency assessments, and system sizing for optimal performance.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate mechanical systems into project designs.
- Oversee site installations, testing, and commissioning to ensure systems meet specifications and safety requirements.
- Provide cost estimations, material procurement, and vendor coordination for mechanical components.
- Perform site inspections and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues and ensure project timelines are met.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and sustainable practices in mechanical engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; professional certification (e.g., P.Eng, LEED) is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting system design for commercial or residential projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP) and familiarity with BIM tools.
- Strong knowledge of international codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, IBC) and Indonesian building regulations.
- Experience in project estimation, tendering, and contract management.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
