Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment, machinery, and systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system failures, implementing effective repair solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements that enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including maintenance logs, repair reports, and equipment manuals.
- Provide on-site technical support and guidance to operational staff, ensuring safe and efficient equipment operation.
- Source, evaluate, and recommend high-quality spare parts and materials to minimize costs while maintaining performance standards.
- Stay updated with advancements in mechanical engineering and propose innovative solutions to improve system reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; professional certification (e.g., P.Eng, CMRP) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, equipment repair, or industrial engineering, preferably in manufacturing or heavy machinery sectors.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and gearboxes.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools (e.g., vibration analysis, thermal imaging) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Familiarity with safety protocols (OSHA, ISO) and quality management systems (QMS).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
