Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, implementing timely repairs to minimize operational disruptions.
- Install, assemble, and commission new machinery and electrical components in accordance with technical specifications.
- Conduct regular safety checks and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production schedules and address technical challenges.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians and operational staff as needed.
- Stay updated with advancements in mechanical and electrical technologies to recommend improvements and upgrades.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (e.g., pumps, motors, conveyors) and electrical systems (e.g., wiring, circuits, PLCs).
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and other maintenance equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
