Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies for mechanical, electrical, and automation systems across multiple poultry breeding sites (GP–PS).
- Lead a team of technicians to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, ensuring 95%+ equipment availability.
- Optimize downtime reduction through root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee the procurement, installation, and commissioning of new machinery and upgrades in compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor energy efficiency and cost-control measures for electrical and mechanical systems to reduce operational expenses.
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and equipment performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and biosecurity protocols in all maintenance operations.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to align maintenance schedules with breeding cycles and business priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in maintenance management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (preferably in poultry, livestock, or food processing industries).
- Proven expertise in mechanical systems (HVAC, ventilation, conveyors) and electrical systems (PLCs, motors, control panels).
- Strong knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and data-driven maintenance planning.
- Familiarity with agricultural/industrial safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO) and biosecurity practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and team leadership skills.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to other sites in Indonesia and relocate to Bali.
