We are now expanding our operations and seeking a Mechanical / Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bali, Indonesia.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, maintaining, and optimizing our state-of-the-art poultry processing facilities. Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems for poultry processing facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment, including HVAC, refrigeration, and automation systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of machinery.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, providing timely and cost-effective solutions to maintain production efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize energy consumption and reduce operational costs.
- Prepare technical reports, schematics, and documentation for system upgrades or new projects.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality control measures.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., P.E. license) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical/electrical engineering, preferably in the food processing, poultry, or manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and familiar with PLC programming for automation systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, motor controls, HVAC systems, and industrial machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement solutions.
- Familiarity with OSHA, ISO, and HACCP standards for food safety and workplace safety.
- Effective communication and project management skills to lead teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
