Responsibility
- Develop detailed mechanical and electrical (M&E) designs, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems, using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
- Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of M&E systems with structural and architectural plans.
- Conduct feasibility studies, load calculations, and energy analyses to optimize system performance and sustainability.
- Prepare technical specifications, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and tender documents in compliance with local and international standards (e.g., SNI, IEC, ASHRAE).
- Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and as-built documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
- Perform site inspections and quality control checks to verify installation compliance and troubleshoot on-site issues.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, green building practices, and regulatory changes to enhance design efficiency and innovation.
- Provide technical support to clients, contractors, and stakeholders during project execution and post-completion phases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in M&E design, drafting, or engineering, with a portfolio of completed projects (commercial, residential, or industrial).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, or similar design software; BIM experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of local building codes (SNI, PUIL), international standards (IEC, ASHRAE), and sustainability certifications (e.g., Green Building, LEED).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and propose practical solutions.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid/remote setting while managing multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Experience with energy modeling, load calculations, and cost estimation tools is highly desirable.
