Responsibility
- Create detailed mechanical drawings and schematics using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design specifications and requirements.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and regulatory codes.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and quality assurance teams.
- Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and finalized technical documents.
- Assist in the preparation of bill of materials (BOM) and other project documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest drafting technologies and industry best practices.
- Support project timelines by delivering accurate and timely drafts.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Drafter or in a similar role, preferably in large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, components, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce precise technical drawings.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with engineers and stakeholders.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
