Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize mechanical systems, components, and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, product managers, and manufacturing teams, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs into final products.
- Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and prototyping to validate design concepts and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing, assembly, and quality assurance purposes.
- Perform stress analysis, thermal analysis, and other engineering calculations to ensure the reliability and safety of mechanical designs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during the development and production phases, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and incorporating suggestions to enhance product performance and manufacturability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL).
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and material science.
- Experience with prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical systems and components.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, such as CNC machining, injection molding, and sheet metal fabrication.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to present technical information clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
- Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment is a plus.
