Responsibility
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for vacuum valve applications using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
- Lead customization projects to meet specific client requirements while maintaining VAT Group's quality standards
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize designs for production efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new mechanical designs and modifications
- Create and maintain technical documentation including drawings, specifications, and bills of materials
- Participate in design reviews and provide engineering support throughout the product lifecycle
- Drive industrialization projects to scale up production of new mechanical designs
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in precision manufacturing or vacuum technology
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) and PDM systems
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including machining, welding, and assembly
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and simulation tools
- Knowledge of vacuum technology and semiconductor equipment is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
