Responsibility
- Assist senior bankers in managing customer portfolios, including account openings, loan processing, and financial advisory services.
- Support the development and execution of retail banking strategies to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Analyze market trends and customer data to identify opportunities for product innovation and service improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline digital banking solutions and enhance user experience.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote financial literacy and Maybank’s services in local markets.
- Prepare reports and presentations on performance metrics, customer feedback, and business growth initiatives for management review.
- Shadow Personal Bankers to learn best practices in wealth management, investment advisory, and risk assessment.
- Contribute to special projects aimed at expanding Maybank’s presence in Bali’s growing financial sector.
Qualifications
- Recent graduate or final-year student in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or related fields (expected graduation by 2026).
- Strong interest in banking, financial services, or wealth management, with a passion for customer-centric solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new financial software/tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a proactive and adaptable mindset.
- Prior internship or work experience in banking, finance, or customer service is advantageous but not required.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia for the duration of the program.
