Responsibility
- Demand & Supply Alignment: Forecast material requirements based on production plans, sales forecasts, and historical data to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Inventory Optimization: Monitor and manage raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory to minimize carrying costs while preventing stockouts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with procurement, production, logistics, and sales teams to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.
- Performance Metrics: Track and report KPIs such as inventory turnover, order fulfillment rates, and lead times to drive continuous improvement.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
- Supplier Coordination: Work closely with suppliers to negotiate lead times, resolve delivery issues, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to streamline materials planning processes using lean methodologies and digital tools.
- Compliance & Audits: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements for materials management.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or APICS/CSCP certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in materials planning, inventory control, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), MRP tools, and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Analytical Abilities: Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements in a global setting.
- Communication: Excellent English proficiency (written and verbal) with the ability to present data and strategies to stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot supply chain issues and implement effective solutions under pressure.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with shifting priorities.
