Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic materials planning and inventory management policies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Lead demand forecasting and procurement activities to ensure timely availability of materials while minimizing excess inventory.
- Oversee the Oracle System for inventory tracking, reporting, and data analysis to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to align material requirements with operational and budgetary goals.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels, turnover rates, and supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement best practices in supply chain management to reduce lead times, prevent stockouts, and enhance overall productivity.
- Train and mentor team members on inventory management processes, Oracle System usage, and supply chain best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in materials planning, inventory management, or supply chain roles, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Proficiency in Oracle Systems or similar ERP software; certification is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing teams and driving process improvements.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
