Responsibility
- Develop and execute material planning strategies to support production schedules and minimize shortages.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement control measures to optimize stock and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Analyze demand forecasts and adjust planning parameters to align with business needs.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements, inventory transactions, and supply chain metrics.
- Resolve material-related issues and escalate critical concerns to management with proposed solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards in material handling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in material planning, inventory control, or supply chain coordination.
- Proven expertise in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for material planning and inventory management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools for forecasting and reporting.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
