Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of material handlers to ensure smooth inbound and outbound logistics operations.
- Coordinate and manage the movement of goods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery and receipt.
- Oversee permit declarations and ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records of stock movements.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize logistics processes and improve efficiency.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Prepare and submit reports on logistics activities, performance metrics, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or material handling, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of inbound and outbound logistics operations, including permit declarations.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in using logistics software and inventory management systems.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities to motivate and guide a team.
- Good communication skills to liaise with internal teams, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with AWS logistics operations is a plus.
