Responsibility
- Verify incoming materials by cross-referencing part numbers and quantities against Goods Receipt (GR) slips.
- Update and maintain the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system to reflect accurate material movements.
- Ensure physical inventory matches system data through regular cycle counts and meticulous documentation.
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams to facilitate the timely delivery of components.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment in accordance with company safety standards.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or quality issues immediately to the supervisor for rapid resolution.
- Assist in general warehouse duties including packing, labeling, and staging materials for shipment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (Nitec/WPLN certifications are a plus).
- Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Assistant, or in a similar inventory-focused role.
- Strong computer literacy, specifically with MRP or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- High attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies in documentation and physical goods.
- Good command of English (written and verbal) for effective communication and reporting.
- Physical capability to lift and move materials safely within a warehouse setting.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
