Responsibility
- Develop and implement material procurement strategies to optimize cost and efficiency.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with production and logistics teams to align material availability with operational needs.
- Monitor market trends and innovate material sourcing to enhance sustainability and quality.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in material handling.
- Analyze data to forecast material demands and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing materials management team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field; Master's preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in materials management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in strategic procurement and supplier negotiations.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in inventory management software.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices in material sourcing is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian is advantageous.
