Responsibility

  • Prepare and hand-pull fresh Lamian noodles on-site, demonstrating traditional techniques to customers with precision and flair.
  • Ensure consistent quality, texture, and taste of noodles, adhering to authentic recipes and standards.
  • Engage with diners through live cooking demonstrations, explaining the history and process of Lamian noodle-making.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to integrate hand-pulled noodles into a variety of dishes, from soups to stir-fries.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace, following food safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Train and mentor junior staff on Lamian preparation techniques and best practices.
  • Monitor inventory of noodle-making ingredients and equipment, ensuring timely restocking.
  • Contribute to menu development by suggesting innovative Lamian-based dishes that align with customer preferences.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Lamian Chef or Hand-Pulled Noodle Specialist in a restaurant or culinary setting.
