Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and production of high-quality baked goods, pastries, and desserts.
- Ensure all baked items meet the established standards of quality and presentation.
- Follow recipes and guidelines to maintain consistency in taste and appearance.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the pastry team to develop new and innovative menu items.
- Assist in training and guiding junior kitchen staff.
- Participate in special events and banquets, ensuring timely and efficient service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Demi Chef De Partie or similar role in a bakery or pastry kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Creative mindset with a passion for pastry and baking.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Certification in culinary arts or pastry making is a plus.
