Responsibility
- Conduct field surveys in assigned Bali locations to assess tobacco product distribution, visibility, and sales performance.
- Collect and verify data from retail outlets (warungs, minimarkets, convenience stores) using digital tools or questionnaires.
- Analyze competitor pricing, promotions, and shelf placement to identify market gaps and opportunities.
- Document outlet demographics, foot traffic patterns, and consumer purchasing behaviors.
- Submit accurate, timely reports with actionable insights to the regional sales team.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with retail owners and staff to ensure ongoing data access.
- Monitor compliance with local regulations and company policies during surveys.
- Assist in ad-hoc market research projects as needed, such as new product launches or seasonal campaigns.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is a plus.
- Prior experience in retail, sales, or field research (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia; fluency in Balinese is advantageous.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to record data accurately in fast-paced environments.
- Proficient in basic digital tools (e.g., spreadsheets, mobile apps) for data entry.
- Reliable transportation (motorcycle/scooter) and valid driver’s license to navigate Bali’s districts.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of tobacco industry trends or FMCG sector is a bonus.
