As a Crewing Assistant, you will play a key role in managing and processing all necessary documentation for our maritime professionals. Your meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills will directly contribute to the efficiency of our crewing operations, supporting both our seafarers and the company’s compliance with international maritime regulations.

Responsibility
- Process and verify all documentation requirements for seafarers, including contracts, certificates, and visas.
- Liaise with government agencies, embassies, and maritime authorities to ensure timely approvals and compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of seafarer documentation in the company’s database.
- Coordinate with internal departments to facilitate smooth onboarding and offboarding of crew members.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of reports related to crewing activities and documentation status.
- Monitor expiration dates of seafarer certificates and initiate renewal processes as needed.
- Provide administrative support to the crewing team, including scheduling, correspondence, and file management.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of all seafarer documentation and personal data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative roles, preferably in the maritime or shipping industry.
- Strong knowledge of maritime documentation requirements and international regulations (e.g., STCW, MLC).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with maritime software is a plus.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team in a fast-paced environment.
