Responsibility
- Troubleshoot and repair marine engine control systems, electrical systems, and automation systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure the optimal performance of marine electrical equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and malfunctions onboard vessels.
- Install and commission new electrical systems and components.
- Provide technical support and training to crew members on the operation and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with marine safety regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to complete projects and resolve complex issues.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in marine electrical systems and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of marine engine control systems, electrical circuits, and automation systems.
- Experience working onboard vessels and in overseas environments.
- Familiarity with marine safety regulations and industry standards.
